Losing streak continues
After a disappointing last week with players losing mood to play and largely blamed on riquelma, the team comprising of riquelma, keatse, messi, rain, matt, caleb and wei liang (team ABU B)walked into sportsplanet this week filled with confidence and believe they could finally end their losing streak. However, it was not to be as kah hoe and co (team ABU A) whipped ABU B.
A dream quickly turned into a nightmare for ABU B when they were already trailing 5-0 at the start as they suffered from quick counter-attacks due to a virtually non-existent defence. Realizing a need for change of tactics, ABU B had to work overtime to turn defence into attack and attack into defence. The move paid off when ABU B scored several quickfire goals and were back into contention. However, the better team prevailed and ABU A won 20-13, a 7 goal margin to teach ABU B a footballing lesson.
Verdict: ABU A was as god-like as ever. A permanent defender is what ABU B needs. Will the real defender please stand up?
