ABU wins again in friendly

I sincerely apologize as it has been ages since this blog was updated due to the reason that there hasn't been really much to write about our normal week in week out futsal sessions. Furthermore, our blog founder, Law Teck Keong havent been putting much effort as promised in naming man of the matches. However, this situation is coming to an end as I am back to post!!!!

Not known to many, Chern Han's friends challenged us to a friendly last friday and as usual ABU doesn't shy away from a challenge. Although short of time, we managed to assemble a team comprising of Kah Hoe, Tze Ping, Caleb, Chern Han, Sean der, Zhen Yuan and myself. Brimming with confidence, we reached there earlier and did our warm-up. However, when CH's friends arrived, our confidence level dived as they sort of have an aura that was threatened to rip us apart. Even then, we were not short of spirit and the match kicked off at 3.30pm.

As expected, it was a tight game in the beginning as both teams tried to stamp their authority. Both teams took turns in taking the lead but the margin was never more than 2 goals until the break. This gave ABU a shot in the arm and believe that we were up to them.

The 5-minute interval proved to be the turning point as immediately after that, ABU was 3 goals up. We started to click, our passing was more fluent, defensively more stable, and more importantly Kah Hoe and Tze Ping were on fire. The rest was more or less comfortable to us and the game then slowed down to a friendly pace which was what the match is all about - making friends.

My verdict:
Kah Hoe - did everything right from start to finish. Scored a brilliant header to cap off a brilliant performance.
But please, stop laughing at your own team mates!!!

Tze Ping- a 5-star all-round performance. Scored from all over the pitch including when playing as a keeper!!!

Sean Der- Was the Great Wall of China in goal and in defence. However, he developed a phobia of saving shots
from the near post.

Caleb - nicknamed the Keeper Killer!!! I'm sure the opposing keeper wondered if he was still alive after
receiving a typical Caleb shot straight to the chest.

Chern Han - did well for both teams (played for the opponents in the beginning). Unfortunately, an injury to
his leg robbed him off a chance to show us more.

Zhen Yuan - Can u believe he plays more politely towards opponents we dun know?

Myself - I would like to believe that i have more or less came out from a slump in form and am satisfied with
my defensive work throughout the match.

Activity : KAI BAO (>.<) Due to previos week unfavorable futsal day on thursday, most of the futsal players caught by injury and swearing cases! It's clear that most of the players are not satisfiy with their perfomance and can't able to SHINE ON THE CARPET. Thus, on the next day which is friday, at shu haur's farewell party, however it turned up to be a WREAK party to release all the unsatisfactory. They had KAI BAO the founder of this blog , Teck Keong. Fierce act had actuali done on Teck Keong and eventually pulled his pants off!

Fortunately, teck keong's most secret part havn't shown to the others since they stopped the violents just right after teck keong shout " oih ! GOU LIAO !" ( oih, enuff ady)
The pic showed how beastful are ABU players are and we are likely to recruit more these kind of players to give the club members more joys and hopefully build a stronger team!

Sportsmanship Week a Success

All ABU players should be congratulated as the Sportsmanship Weeks was a success. For the whole duration of the match, there were no swearing at players or deliberate foul play whatsoever. In addition, the cheaper price of RM 60 for 2 hours (due to some trickery) might have put players in a joyful mood as well. Hopefully this will be the spirit that ABU players carry in every game in the future.

Coming back to the game, it was pretty one-sided from the start, prompting Riquelma to say that he was cursed.

"I have lost count of how many times i have lost since my return. No matter what team I am in or whoever I play with, that team will lose and i am sick of it, I maybe cursed, who knows?"

However, Sui Yuan had other suggestions, "I think they lost because the defence was practically non-existent making them suffer from our counter-attacks. Furthermore, i don't get why their play always go to the flanks. They should play through the middle more."

Sadly, the match ended in an unfortunate note when Wei Liang was once again struck down with an ankle sprain. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Sportsmanship week

In view of the deteriorating attitudes of some players as mentioned previously, this week will be named as Sportsmanship Week to promote a clean and peaceful but fun match. The club hopes that all players will play their part in making the the Sportsmanship Week a success and carry that attitude for future matches.

Futsal will definitely be held this Friday but the time is not yet fixed as it may be brought forward to an earlier time...visit the blog for more info

I'm afraid after weeks of observation, i would like to express my disappointment towards the contributors of this blog. As a regular contributor, I'm afraid to say that this blog is becoming my blog and riquelMA's blog. For the past few weeks, only riquelMA and me have been regularly updating the blog for all the ABU members. What happen to the other contributors?

In addition, this blog is not only for futsal story, but also for life story. That's why the name of this very blog is called "futsal for life, life for futsal". So, feel free to post some stories in this interesting blog. Furthermore, as the founder of this blog, TeckKeong, i think we should expand our contributor list to all the members of ABU. This will definitely allow our members to voice out their opinion in this blog.

ABU Player Leaving for Wales

It's a saddening that one of ABU player is leaving ABU to further his studies at Wales. Yes, this person is none other than Tang Shu Haur who will be leaving for Wales tomorrow at 11.45pm from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Although not a regular player, this person has been with us since the establishment of All Ballz United. A great friend and a great player. Now that he is gonna leave us for Wales, we won't be seeing him playing futsal with us that often anymore. Despite the misses we'll have for him, we wish him all the best in his future undertaking. Not to forget us and of course continue to play futsal with us when he comes back.

Injury Week

Injuries Hit ABU Players
For the first time, our futsal was held on a thursday this week. However, it turned out not to be a very well outing as injuries occured on most of the players with collisions, falls and ball smashed on face.

Injury List:
1. TK - Leg cramp
2. TL - Ball smashed on face
3. SK - Ball smashed on face
4. YX - Hand sprained
5. CW - Head collision
6. ZY - Lips bleed and head collision
7. and many more...

On the other hand, swearing has becoming a habit by some of players in the field. During the post-match interview, messi apologized for his bad temper and swearing during the match. he said to reporter that he felt terribly sorry and shouldn't have brought outside preblems into the field. Speaking on the game, he felt that the game is getting more rough due to the growing competitiveness. He knew that everyone wanted to win. Therefore, everyone tried their best for their team. When things just didn't work out, there was when frustration came in. Subsequently, roughness and swearing also came into the scene.

Messi said that: " It was foolish of me to swear at my friends as it was only a friendly game. No doubt, friendship comes first, and winning is always second" In another interview, one of our ABU players told our reporter that: " Everytime i see my friends like that (blacked face), it really spoils my mood to play. I'm here to learn to play futsal, improving our standards, so i really hope such things do not happen anymore."

Last but not least, the FA has issue a warning to all the players that swear and pointed out that if things do not get better, then referees will have to be implemented on the match. The FA has also not ruled out on possible bans and fines on such players in the near future.

This week Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho quoted saying that Makelele was treated like a slave to France after he was named in the France squad ahead of the euro qualifier despite announcing his retirement from international football after the world cup. A similar incident happened in the ABU camp, where despite Teck Keong announcing his retirement from futsal last week, he played in last friday's futsal match. Speaking to reporters regarding this matter, Teck Keong said that the main reason he returned to futsal is because of someone. The particular person which refuse to be named and can only be known as Mr. Lim. This was the respond given by Teck Keong to our reporter.

However, on the other side of the story, Teck Keong was reported to has sign a contract with kah hoe & his friends to form a team called "The Dream Team". His retirement news was used as a bait to divert the attention of the other ABU players while he managed to seal up the deal. This was indeed the tactic used to thrash ABU B last friday with a healthy margin of 7 goals which was a record win in ABU's history.

Losing streak continues

After a disappointing last week with players losing mood to play and largely blamed on riquelma, the team comprising of riquelma, keatse, messi, rain, matt, caleb and wei liang (team ABU B)walked into sportsplanet this week filled with confidence and believe they could finally end their losing streak. However, it was not to be as kah hoe and co (team ABU A) whipped ABU B.

A dream quickly turned into a nightmare for ABU B when they were already trailing 5-0 at the start as they suffered from quick counter-attacks due to a virtually non-existent defence. Realizing a need for change of tactics, ABU B had to work overtime to turn defence into attack and attack into defence. The move paid off when ABU B scored several quickfire goals and were back into contention. However, the better team prevailed and ABU A won 20-13, a 7 goal margin to teach ABU B a footballing lesson.

Verdict: ABU A was as god-like as ever. A permanent defender is what ABU B needs. Will the real defender please stand up?

This blog is set up for a reason, its not merely for crap but to inform all of u the time and venue of every week's futsal session. So would u guys pls kindly visit the blog and leave ur confirmation? Is it that hard? Don't u guys have internet?

Why is it that every single time i or tk have to msg spend so much credit to sms everyone. Even then, i dun mind to sms those who come week in week out, or if ur not free u can even tell me straight, but pls dun say u can then later come give me f**ked up reasons like lazy la...no mood la....or not free but can go out the next day.

Is this wat i should get for taking the initiative to do wat no one wants to do? All i want is some appreciation, by attending the futsal session and giving appropriate response....is it that hard? I wonder if i am the dumb one to do this? U wanna know how i feel...just take over the job of calling ppl for a week...and u'll understand...i had enough of this....its not the first time....can't stand it anymore.....pls....show some commitment and passion for the game...thats all i ask.....

U guys really think i too free with nothing better to do but to call ppl for futsal? Weeks when there is not enough ppl i have to look for ways and means to find more ppl....weeks when there are too many ppl...i have to deny others only for some ppl to tell me they cannot...then i have to call those that i denied again....its not fun at all doing this....its really not

ABU urges TK to continue

In an emotional exclusive interview, ABU members urged Teck Keong to stay on and play as he has the support of everyone at the club.

"The earlier report about us wanting TK out of the team was rubbish! He was and still is a very important part of the team," Riquelma said.

Now, the decision is up to TK and the match tomorrow should shed more light on his future.

In an unrelated incident, Riquelma was reported to be furious with team mate Chern Han who has been missing for last week match and is going to miss tomorrow's. Citing personal matters as the reasons, he has however been seen having fun in other places.

"I won't inform him of matches any longer. If he wants to play he can notify me instead. I'm sick of it!" Riquelma said before storming away.

Orange Zombies(SAM) owns Explorace(A-Levels)

Explorace organizer Lim Chern Han couldn't believe his eyes and was left devastated as he witnessed the victory of the Orange Zombies from SAM programme. Having looked down on SAM students all this while, Chern Han had to eat his own words as the Orange Zombies staged one of the greatest comebacks of all time to win the competition.

Faltering from the very start as we (me, tecky, yee xian and sk) failed to find sweet cafe (for goodness sake the board is damn small), things got worse when we struggled to drink a blended mixture of toufu, uncooked instant noodles, chilli, sambal udang, cream of mushroom and ginger. The taste was undescribable and all of us instantly got sick and felt like vomitting. What a way to start a competition...

By the time we finished the first task, others were quite far ahead of us that we practically gave up hope and slowed down to walking pace while others were rushing around. Then, came our second task, selling muffins. 4 muffins, each for RM1, but for every additional ringgit earned, a minute will be waived off our total time. With a stroke of luck, Dee Mei was there to the rescue. Selling all 4 to her for RM10, we got 6 minutes waived (more accurately, we paid her 10 bucks back later...hehe). If u think we were good, another group sold their muffins for RM5 each!!! (I bet they bought it themselves...what an invesment!!!).

Selling the muffins in a jiffy, the third challenge was to find an object with 2 clues given. Due to the brilliance of the team, we cracked the 2 clues in record time. The object was a car parked at star bucks. The expression on the face of Chern Han was priceless as that very moment.

By then, we had our confidence back and our spirits high as we faced the 4th and last challenge- transporting water in a cup using only our mouthes to fill a 1.5 liter bottle 3 floors above. It was a tiring task but it didn't trouble us much.

In the end, to our disappointment, we ended only at fourth place out of 6 teams. However, the path of the Orange Zombies was not destined to end then and there was a huge twist to the plot. After waiving the time, we were promoted to 3rd. In addition, the 2nd placed team consists of only 2 people when a team is supposed to consists 4. Therefore, they were disqualified. Hence, the Orange Zombies lived to fight another battle- the finale with the first placed team (which i believed to be those people who "sold" their muffins for RM5 each)

For the finale, a 10 x 10 chess board-like squares was created using rafia ropes. The objective was to take the correct route of 45 steps to the opposite side. Technically, this challenge was all down to memory and luck. However, we owe this victory to the magnificent coordination of sk and yee xian as they navigated me and tecky succesfully through the maze. With this, the comeback was complete and we were practically jumping up and down and shouting with joy.

With 2 wins out of 2 competitions, the legendary Orange Zombies has done it again. If the first was won with lack of sleep, this one was won with me still recovering from an operation and hence the right to be named "The Gamemasters"! We pocketed a total of RM 150 from the unwilling hands of Chern Han and we hope that he will create more opportunities for us to earn money in the future. Before signing off, I would like to once again state that SAM STUDENTS AIN'T DUMB and we showed by example.

After tremendous pressure from manager, teammates and fans, Teck Keong has decided to quit futsal for good. He said in an press conference to reporters at kayu today. He told reporter that the decision he made was for the good of the team. After discussing the matter with his family members and friends, he made the ultimate decision after a week long of thinking. Asking if he is really serious about his decision, he said that he had no regret and will not make an U-turn. However, despite not being able to be a player for ABU, he has pledged his full commitment as the chief editor of the ABU blog.

In the mean time, Arsene Wenger is furious with his sudden decision and has warned his players not to walk out of the team in future. Nothing could be done as Teck Keong was never contracted to ABU and has the right to leave the club anytime he wants. To prevent things like this to happen in future, Wenger has implemented the contract system. All players of ABU will be offered a contract from ABU.

Despite a low attendance, it was high spirit in the ABU camp. Today marks the return of riquelMA after a month absence. It was a splendid performance by RiquelMA banging goals non-stop during the match. It was a goal feast as a total of 46 goals were scored in 2 hours. For 2 hours, Si Keat and Sean Der have to defend their goal from the attacking flair of Chee Yen and Kah Hoe. It was certainly a high standard game as everyone did very well in their part.

Peace to return to ABU again?

Players to go back to training
After a quiet week, ABU to return to training again this coming friday. This friday we'll see the return of RiquelMA after his surprise operation, two weeks earlier than predicted. However, tk has asked for more time from his teammates. Manager of ABU Arsene Wenger has given tk a ultimatum to decide his future at ABU as quickly as possible rather than disrupting the other ABU players. (No wonder ashley cole still have not decide whether to go to Chelsea)

As the new EPL season is starting with tonight's curtain raiser, most of of our ABU players will be supporting the respective clubs (ManU, Arsenal, Liverpool but not Chelsea).

Teck Keong's Life

After 1 week tk revealed the truth, it has caused unrest in the ABU camp. Things were not very well that this week's futsal has to be canceled for the first time after so long. Rumours were spreading that tk did not want to want to have futsal this week because he did not dare to face his team mates. However, all ABU team mates are willing to welcome tk back to training and accept him with his new status.

In the mean time, most of the ABU players had a busy week. It is believed mostly it is because of examination. Goodluck and all the best to every ABU players in your examination. We will update you the next futsal session. Make sure you continue to log on to this blog.

NEWS : tk's rumour gay partner

Just today the person, rumour said to be teck keong's gay partner, Mr.XXX has denied the rumour and clarified that he is TOTALLY STRAIGHT in a press conference held by his agent. Mr.XXX reaffirmed with the public that he likes female now, and forever, and will never ever have sex with a male because it is against his principle, moral values and religion and most importantly it is SICK. He admits that teck keong is a close friend of him but thatz all.

Although Mr.XXX realized therez something wrong with teck keong lately, however he strongly clear out the doubts on teck keong's sex interest. Apparently, he hinted that there could be problems in teck keong's love life in this year and hence he supposed teck keong need some attention from his friends and family. Before the end of the conference, Mr.XXX says ''i hope that teck keong's friends would give him a hand at such tough period, especially when one suffers big blow in relationship. Once again, im straight!! SAY NO TO GAY!!'' .

Teck Keong's Bad Habit During Match
Today, Teck Keong admits to the press that he spits during match whenever he is tired. Teck Keong told reporter that he finally understood why football palyers spit during match. However, his unhygenic act has caused fear to some of our ABU players.

Teck Keong's confession has also solve the mystery of a disease which was affecting a few ABU players to walk out during match in recent weeks. It was none other than Teck Keong's saliva that was the source of the disease.

Medical staff of ABU has urged Teck Keong to stop his habit by sending him for rehabilitation for 2 weeks. Hopefully, we can see his changes after 2 weeks.

In another news, Teck Keong has admitted that he is gay. Nevertheless, no one in ABU has asked him to be straight again. Due to special request, we could not reveal his gay partner. Those who wants to give some advice to Teck Keong, please do not hesitate to call 012-2035811 (Teck Keong)

Inter-Leo Clubs Futsal Tournament
After 1 win and 2 loses, All Ballz United was knocked out of the Inter-Leo Clubs Futsal Tournament group stage. ABU started strong with a win, however it all went wrong after that. Much have to be put on inexperience, opponent's roughness and the rule which allow rebound after the ball hits outside the goal net. However, ABU managed to rack up 3 goals courtesy of Kah Hoe(2) and Zhen Yuan(1). Nevertheless, there was nothing to be proud of as ABU did not make it to the knock out stage.

Lastly, it was a great exposure to ABU players and it shows that much can still be improved if ABU were to do well in another futsal competition.

Today's friendly match was a warm up for the team representing ABU to the Inter-Leo Clubs Futsal Tournament tommorow at Taman Megah. Despite an uneven team, sk, tk, tl, ch and hm have all shown great determination and their never-say-die attitude of ABU during the match. Due to the lack of people, the five men have played the full 2 hour match. Even so, they did not complaint about tiredness. Arsenal fans have recently been stunned by the revelation that Joel Henry has decided to rule himself out of this week's encounter. ABU Managing Director , David Gill has decided to impose a 2 week's fine of wages on ABU defender cum goalkeeper @ calamity James , Law Teck Keong for breaching the club's rule. As we would all know , players under contract are not allowed to play or train for other clubs under any circumstances. The sentence was passed after the weekly board meeting.

David Gill has also pleaded to the " BOO BOYS " not to take it hard on mr LAW as he's fully apologised to the club. When interviewed by sportscenter , " I'm ABU thru n thru. I have no intention whatsoever to train with other clubs. Match practice was much needed as i had walked out on last week's game. " , said Law.

The issue has been resolved as all parties are now clearly focused on this week's match.

A reliable source has indicated that one of Kah Hoe's friends will be named as a replacement for the absence of midfield dynamo Si Keat. However, nothing is comfirmed from the ABU camp as players get prepared for the tournament.

Due to injury, si keat has pulled out from the Inter-Leo Clubs Futsal Tournamament squad. The injury is believed to be an old injury and has become worse after yesterday's futsal match. Due to neutral stances, RiquelMA has been appointed as the manager of All Ballz United for the inter-Leo Club Futsal Competition. His job is to choose the first-5 and determines the tactic of the game. This definitely will increase the chances of ABU doing well in the competition.

Besides that, President of Taylor's College Omega LeoCLub, Leo Yap Ying Hui has indicated that he wants his leo club members to support the team on that day. All signs show that all is not well in Law's personal life as he vented his feelings publicly a few days ago which can be read in below. Well, the problem is that who's gonna pay for it ? i suggest that everybody pay RM2-RM3(Depends on the amount of people) for the ball, the rest i will cover it. And i will incharge of the ball. As the absence of Riquelma from ABU's first inter-club match still a mystery to most of the public, sportcenter's Insider has got the answer!!!

Today, ABU's spokesperson revealed to the Insider that Riquelma's absence was due to an appendicitis operation last Friday. However, there was no need for any worry as the hour long operation was a success and Riquelma is now resting at home.

To obtain more information, the Insider arranged a video conference with Riquelma from ABU headquarters

I: "Can u talk us through what happened?"

R:"It all started apparently as gastric pains but the pain slowly moved to the right of the stomach. After examined by ABU specialist Dr. Foo, he was convinced that it was a case of appendicitis and I was admitted for operation."

I:"When will u be returning to the pitch?"

R:"Well, the doc suggested 6 weeks but i hope i can make a quicker comeback if possible. It all depends on the rate of recovery."

I:"What do u think of ABU's performance on Friday?"

R:"Oh, I thought they were fantastic and it is always important to win our first match to pave the way to greater heights. I suppose they did not miss me at all, hehe. Anyway, some of them paid me a visit at the hospital and i thank them very much for that."

Today marks the day of ABU first friendly match. Our opponent is Jun Hao's classmates from Taylor's College.

After 2 hours hard game, when ABU beats their opponent with a 29 - 16 scoreline. From start, ABU took the lead but opponents still never tend to give up and caused some problems to our defence all the time.

Due to the fact the god keeper yee xian was busy with taylor's college omega leo club iu day, his one and only replacement was teck keong. Even though he made some blunders, nevertheless our stike force proves that they are determine to score in 2 hours. Every players manage to get involves in the game including keeper teck keong(he tried to run out of his role though get scolding by his teammates).

During the post match interview, teck keong said that he wasn't tired at all after the match due to the fact that he didn't drink any 100plus today. This shows that our practice match every friday is quite competitive.

All in all, it's was a nice game. We still have lots of rooms to improve. Hopefully, one day, we'll be competitive enough to join competitions.

Post Match Report
Wat a crunching game today n yet again the score ended 13-13. We've seen 2 hours of non-stop futsal action, playing at high tempo n even in the final 15 minutes, both team have shown tremendous commitment. Compliments should be given to all players today for their 110% commitment.

In my opinion, the man of the match should be given to chee seng (kah hoe's friend). He has given a strong performance both offensively and defensively. Wonderful techniques and dribbling skill. Nevertheless, both keepers also did very well to keep all the shots from crossing the goal line. Besides that, the goal of the week should be given to RiquelMA when he headed a goal home from a cross from Messi.

It's a Draw!!! Yet again...

Amid all the hype generated by both teams coupled with bust-ups and injuries to key player Riquelma , the match itself ended up in a 3rd straight draw.

Team A consisting of Riquelma , Si Keat, Zhen Yuan , Sui Yuan , Cech liang & myself went 4-1 down just after minutes courtesy of mistakes in the backline. Picking themselves up , Team A fought gallantly against the might of Team B comprising Boss , Pat, Mat, Ham Xiang, Wei Liang , Kah Hoe and friend.

With a neck-to-neck battle , Team A managed to claw their way back and equalise at 11-11. Going 13-11 up after that , Team B hit back with two goals of their own. Kah Hoe thought he had hit the winner later on but it wasn't to be. The lights had oredi been turned off.

My Man of the match??? I opine that the 13 ppl on the field can be proud calling themselves MEN of the match. Nobody really shined but what i could say that it certainly was nothing short of a wonderful match. Great Game , Great Fun and Great Battle . After all , that's what this game is all about. It UNITES us all...

I would like to confirm the rumours that i have seen a doctor...however it is nothing more than normal gastric pains.....the doctor has given me the green light to play tomorrow and i dun see why we cannot win tomorrow's battle...

I would also like to thank Messi and my team for their support and concern...I will play through the pain barrier if necessary and i won't let the team down....

As there are only 2 more days to the Big Day....the hype generated between players have reached a feverish state to the point that everything discussed in college and in MSN is about futsal....Moreover, mind games between the 2 teams have already started and it makes the titanic clash on friday all the more exciting with bragging rights and the final laugh on the line!!!

Unfortunately, Caleb who originally is believed to be in the team with the likes of Kah hoe and Wei Liang is unable to attend on this friday due to personal reasons...However, when asked about Caleb's absence and how it will affect the team...teck keong was quoted to have said "what i can say is the replacement is a SECRET WEAPON!". According to reliable sources, I believe this secret weapon to be Tien Meng.

Furthermore, Teck Keong and I had exchanged a few words a few days ago. In this conversation, the on-form Teck Keong tried his best to put his message across indirectly to me that we are supposedly not good enough. The conversation was as follow:

CW: Heard u very on-form ah?
TK: No la...i only on-form when i play with geng ppl
CW: That means u say we cha la?
TK: aiya...let u know the hidden msg liao
CW: Fine...u look down on us
TK: Nola...not all the time...when u see me on-form that time means u all geng also lo

These harsh words from Teck Keong have inspired the team and I to raise above the challenges even as the underdogs. "A footballer's greatest weapon is inspiration" (Riquelma, 2006). Therefore, with Teck Keong's words, I believed he has equipped us with the most lethal weapon of all for The Battle of Sunway!!!
